School Report Card
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has issued School Report Cards for all public schools in Wisconsin.  The School Report Card provides clarity on how well our schools help children learn and graduate ready for college and career.  Please click here for information on how Grafton schools performed and for an explanation of the report cards.

The Grafton School District requires all school volunteers to have an approved background check completed prior to volunteering in the classroom or chaperoning on a field trip. Background checks generally take at least one week to process, please plan accordingly. Please bring your ID or Driver's License the first time you check in as a volunteer.

A valid ID or a Driver's License is also required to enter all Grafton schools as a visitor.

School Picture Retake Day
Wednesday, October 9th

Students who did not have their school picture taken at Registration in August will be photographed at school this day. Information will be sent home to these families. 

In addition, families who are unhappy with their student's current school picture can have the picture retaken on this day. If you are interested in a picture retake, please click here to view the Retake Instructions.

Picture packages can still be purchased through VIP's website at www.vipis.com, and then select Kennedy Elementary. 

Original Works Art Fundraiser
Artwork Due Friday, October 25th

The Original Works Art Fundraiser is here!

Original Works is a fundraiser that transforms your student’s artwork into custom keepsakes. Choose from a variety of products including Christmas ornaments, grocery tote bags, notebooks, aprons, matted pictures, magnets and more. A percentage of each sale is donated to Kennedy Elementary School and is used by our PTG to fund school-wide activities, provide classroom resources, and reduce the cost of field trips.

Look for the Original Works Fundraiser packet to come home soon! Artwork is due back to Kennedy by Friday, October 25th

Fall Book Fair
October 15th - October 17th

The Fall Book Fair will be open for families to shop after school during the following times:

Tuesday, October 15th, 3:30-7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 16th, 3:30-7:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 17th, 3:30-7:00 p.m.

Students who bring money to school will be permitted to shop the Book Fair during their lunch recess on these days. Parent volunteers will be available to assist shoppers and supervise. 

Popcorn Friday and Spirit Wear Day
Friday, October 25th

Students can purchase a bags of popcorn for 50 cents each and it will be delivered to their classroom for them to enjoy. All the money raised goes to the classrooms to help fund classroom parties, treats and incentives. 

Students should also wear their Kennedy Spiritwear, or our school colors of blue and white.

For over 10 years, Kennedy families have committed to clean up Centennial Park during the Clean Up Grafton event. Join Kennedy Elementary and our families and help Clean Up Centennial Park on Saturday, May 12th (rain or shine) from 
10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Families MUST sign up by May 7th to receive a day pass to the Grafton Pool and Mke Co. Zoo.
We are looking for a family to arrive early and check Kennedy families in.
