Summer Hours
Due to the on-going construction projects at Kennedy, the building will be closed Friday, June 1st - Friday, August 24th. During some of this time the Kennedy Staff will be working remotely at John Long Middle School. Please see below for the summer office schedule and building location information.

June 13th
- School supplies lists will be available on school websites

July 16th
- Elementary class placement/teacher assignments will be available in Skyward.
- Great Start Conference sign-up will be available in Skyward
- Meet and Greet Summer Picnics for 1st, 2nd and 5th grades

August 1st
- A mailing will be sent to all families regarding 18-19 School Year Registration. 
- Meet and Greet Summer Picnics for K5, 3rd and 4th grades

August 13th
- Online pre-registration (Part A) begins in Skyward. 

August 21st & 22nd - Location Change! See below 
- All schools in-person registration (Part B) at John Long Middle School (700 Hickory St., Grafton). School photos will be taken at this time. 

September 4th-6th
- Great Start Conferences

September 7th
- First Day of school for 4K-5th grade





Great Start Conferences
September 4th-6th, 2018

Our school district is excited to announce that we will begin the 2018-2019 school year with a special experience known as Great Start Conferences for all incoming students in grades 4K-5th. The purpose of this is to provide students, families, and teachers with the opportunity to have a Great Start to the school year!

Girls on the Run Registration
Calling all 3rd – 5th Grade girls! Registration for the Girls on the Run program registration is now open! Visit the GOTR Registration page and search for Kennedy Elementary School.

The Girls on the Run (GOTR) program includes lessons that encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. GOTR is the only national physical, activity-based, positive youth development program for girls with compelling evidence of program impact. Throughout the season, the girls make new friends, build their confidence and celebrate all that makes them unique.

Program registration is open now and the 10-week program begins September 11th. Practices are held twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30–4:45 p.m., with a season-ending 5K event on Sunday, November 18th at 9:00 a.m.

For over 10 years, Kennedy families have committed to clean up Centennial Park during the Clean Up Grafton event. Join Kennedy Elementary and our families and help Clean Up Centennial Park on Saturday, May 12th (rain or shine) from 
10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Families MUST sign up by May 7th to receive a day pass to the Grafton Pool and Mke Co. Zoo.
We are looking for a family to arrive early and check Kennedy families in.
