Important Reminders

When to Keep Your Sick Child at Home
The winter months are filled with cold weather and sickness. The district has some guidelines for when and how long you should keep your children home from school when they are sick. Please click here to download the district's policies and procedures for student sickness.

Cold Weather Recess Requirements
As the temperatures drop, please be sure your students has appropriate outside gear. A coat/jack/sweatshirt is required for recess if the temperature is below 60 degrees. To play in the snow, boots and snowpants are required for K5-2nd grade; boots are required for 3rd-5th grade. Due to our recess restrictions this year, students will not have the option to stay out of the snow if they don't have on the proper gear.

Students will be outside for recess every day unless there is inclement weather or if the temperature is at 0 degrees or below.

Student Dismissal
Students should be picked up at the end of the day on the grassy spot to the right side of the covered walkway. Families should keep the walkway clear for students and teachers who are exiting the building.

Absences and Tardies
All absences and tardies must be phoned into our Attendance Line (262-376-5555) each morning. Please leave a message and include the following information: your name, your student's name, the reason for absence/tardy and the date of absence. If we do not receive a phone call or message by the start of school, we have to call you to gather the necessary information.
