School Building Visitor Procedures
School day visitors will be able to enter into the interior vestibule within the front doors. Visitors will then will use the "call button" located to the right inside the vestibule and be greeted by a member of our office staff. The office staff will then "buzz" you into the office area, so you can conduct your visit.

Please remember, a driver's license or state ID is required to enter the school building during school hours. In addition, volunteers must successfully complete a background check before assisting in the classroom or on a field trip. Click here to access the background check online form through Raptor.

Popcorn Friday and Spirit Wear Day
Friday, February 15th

Enjoy a delicious bag of popcorn for 50 cents and show your Kennedy pride by wearing your Kennedy Spirit Wear or our school colors. The money collected from Popcorn Sales is donated to classrooms to fund special activities.

Early Release Day
Thursday, February 21st
Dismissal at 11:50 a.m.

On Thursday, February 21st, 5K-5th grades will be released early at 11:50 a.m. There is no 4K this day. Please click on the link below to complete and submit the Early Release Form for each of your students to indicate their after-school plans for this day. We ask that you complete the form no later than Tuesday, February 19th so staff can properly plan dismissal for that day. If your family does not complete the form, your student will be sent home following his/her traditional after-school plans.

Lunch will not be served at school on this day, however families can order a bag lunch from Food Service to be sent home or to daycare with your student. Lunch orders are due by Monday, February 18th.

Downtown Pizza Kennedy Fundraiser
Wednesday, February 20th, 4:00-8:00 p.m.
1228 12th Ave., Grafton

Take a break from making dinner, enjoy some delicious pizza and help raise money for Kennedy Elementary! A percentage of all sales during this time will be donated to Kennedy to support school-wide activities, fund field trips and enhance our classrooms. We appreciate your support!

Come to Kennedy for a very special event intended to foster a love of reading, writing, and learning.

**Enjoy a pizza dinner and drinks on us! **Meet some of your favorite story-book characters! **Create your own book! **Learn to illustrate your favorite story-book characters! **Enjoy read-alouds by special guest readers! **Pick out a special book to keep and take home!

For over 10 years, Kennedy families have committed to clean up Centennial Park during the Clean Up Grafton event. Join Kennedy Elementary and our families and help Clean Up Centennial Park on Saturday, May 12th (rain or shine) from 
10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Families MUST sign up by May 7th to receive a day pass to the Grafton Pool and Mke Co. Zoo.
We are looking for a family to arrive early and check Kennedy families in.
