Important Reminders

School Building Visitor Procedures
School day visitors will be able to enter into the interior vestibule within the front doors. Visitors will then will use the "call button" located to the right inside the vestibule and be greeted by a member of our office staff. The office staff will then "buzz" you into the office area, so you can conduct your visit.

Please remember, a driver's license or state ID is required to enter the school building during school hours. In addition, volunteers must successfully complete a background check before assisting in the classroom or on a field trip. Click here to access the background check online form through Raptor.

K5-5th Grade Kennedy Winter Concert
1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16th, 2019
Grafton High School Auditorium


Join us for our winter concert! Students will be bused from Kennedy to Grafton High School. Families are asked to come to the high school no earlier than 12:00 to respect the high school exam schedule.

Important note about student lunches...
Student lunches and times will be altered on the day of the Winter Concert so we can assure that all students will have time to eat before leaving for the concert.

11:00 - 11:20 am 5K (in Cafeteria)
11:05 - 11:25 am 1st Grade (in Cafeteria)
11:35 -11:55 am 2nd Grade (in Cafeteria)
11:30 am-12:00 pm Grades 3, 4, 5 (in classrooms)

Students in Grades 3rd-5th: Students must bring a cold lunch from home or order a bag (cold) lunch from Food Service. No hot lunch will be served this day for these students. Students will eat lunch in their classrooms. To order a bag lunch from food Service click here and submit the online order form. The Food Service bag lunch order deadline is Friday, January 11th.




Popcorn Friday + Spirit Wear Day

Reminder: popcorn bags are now bigger and cost .50 each bag. Remember to wear your Kennedy spirit wear or school colors!




Qdoba Kennedy Fundraiser

Join your Kennedy family and friends at Qdoba for some fine Mexican food! A portion of sales during this time will be given to the Kennedy family group and will be used to fund school activities and reduce the cost of field trips. Be sure you bring the event flyer, you must present the flyer on your phone or in print for your sale to be included in our fundraiser.

4K Information and Registration Night
Thursday, January 24th, 6:30 p.m.
Woodview Elementary Gym, 600 5th Avenue


Parents of prospective 4K students for the 2019-20 school year at all elementary schools are invited to attend this presentation on the District's 4K program. Parents will learn about Grafton's 4K program, see what a typical day in 4K looks like, and learn the benefits of 4K enrollment in the Grafton School District. 4K enrollment forms can be submitted this night to enroll for the 2019-20 school year.

For over 10 years, Kennedy families have committed to clean up Centennial Park during the Clean Up Grafton event. Join Kennedy Elementary and our families and help Clean Up Centennial Park on Saturday, May 12th (rain or shine) from 
10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Families MUST sign up by May 7th to receive a day pass to the Grafton Pool and Mke Co. Zoo.
We are looking for a family to arrive early and check Kennedy families in.
