Popcorn Friday + Spirit Wear Day
Friday, September 23rd is our first Popcorn Friday and Spirit Wear Day of the year! Remember to bring your quarters and wear your favorite Kennedy gear!

Grafton School District Free Family Skate Night
Ozaukee Ice Center, 5505 Pioneer Rd., Mequon
Friday, September 23rd, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Elementary school grades 4K-5th are welcome to come enjoy a fun night of skating. Bring your own skates or enjoy free skate rentals. Hockey equipment will be available for any child who would like to try playing hockey!

Scrip Gift Cards Online Order
Online Orders are due by Midnight on September 25th.

New this year: Kennedy will be accepting online Scrip orders only. Please see the documents below for instructions on online ordering and setting up PrestoPay.

When you purchase gift cards through Scrip a percentage of the purchase goes back to Kennedy. Gift cards can be purchased for a variety of restaurants and shops and they are perfect to use on every day purchases or for gifts for birthdays or holidays. Scrip orders are due each month, orders must be placed online by Midnight.

Join your Kennedy friends, family, and staff as we welcome the 2016-17 school year. Families will be able to visit classrooms and join other families in the All Purpose Room for a school-wide picnic.

School Picture Retake Day
Wednesday, October 5th

Students who were not photographed during our registration days will have the opportunity to get their picture taken on our Picture Retake Day. Prior to the picture day, a letter will be sent home with a picture order form to those students who were listed as not being photographed. If you do not want to order pictures your child's picture will still be taken this day to include in the yearbook and in the class composite photograph. 

Families who want their school pictures to be retaken can also participate in this picture day. Click here for instructions on retaking school pictures.

Grafton LEGO League: New Parents' Information Meeting
Tuesday, October 11th, Grafton Elementary School Library
The Grafton LEGO League will hold an information meeting for parents of children interested in participating. Parents of students in grades 5K-3rd should attend from 6:30-7:00 p.m., and parents of students in 4th and 5th grade should attend from 7:00-7:30 p.m. Parents will learn more about the LEGO League and how to register their child. Parents of children who previously participated do not need to attend this meeting. Registration begins on October 10th.

The Grafton LEGO League is a district-wide, hands-on program that engages children through experimentation and a culture of sharing and learning from others. It goes beyond just “playing with LEGOS”. After a 12-week program that includes research, LEGO building and simple computer programming, teams have the opportunity to showcase their building project at the Grafton LEGO League Expo. FIRST LEGO League Jr is open to students in 5K-3rd Grade and FIRST LEGO League is open to students in 4th & 5th Grade (this program is replacing Elemental Robotics). Kennedy McTeacher Night
Thursday, October 13th, 4:00-7:00 p.m., Grafton McDonald's
Join your family and friends for dinner or a snack at the Grafton McDonald's. Kennedy staff will be there to serve your food and show you a great time. A percentage from all sales this night will go to Kennedy. 

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conferences will be held on the evenings of Tuesday, October 18th, and Thursday, October 20th, and on the morning of Friday, October 21st. Look for more information to come from your child's teacher.

DreamBox Home Login
DreamBox Learning is an excellent research based program that the district has purchased for our students.
